Help Colorado Now: Sign up to be a volunteer or a neighborhood team leader at Help Colorado Now. Volunteer needs will vary depending on where you are located and what you are willing and able to do. Volunteer opportunities include administrative, client advocacy, construction, mental wellness, food bank support, language skills, healthcare, volunteer management, childcare, delivery of goods, or general support. Colorado Consumer Health Initiative: Phone banking is a fantastic opportunity to engage in important and meaningful conversations about the state of healthcare and guide fellow Coloradans to resources that they might need in this trying time. No experience is needed - they will train you and provide you with all the tools that you need. Please fill out this form so they can start scheduling trainings. Colorado Volunteer Mobilizer for Medical and Public Health ProfessionalsThe first question when registering is: Which organization do you want to volunteer with? Please make a selection, and if you are uncertain select General Volunteers, Medical Professionals, or P&EH – Public and Environmental Health (whichever one best describes your qualifications) for your home county. Determine which type of registration best suits your skill set:

  • Occupation: If you are a retired or student volunteer, please select medical or non-medical and then add the student or retired.
  • Medical Licensed Volunteers: If you are licensed through DORA, please list your license number with only the numbers no zeros at the front (example RN.0009933 you would put 9933 if it is RN.00099003 you would put 99003). If you are an EMT, please list the full license number including the letter at the beginning if there is one.
  • If you are non-medical, please do not select “other” if at all possible. For example, if we are looking for someone who can be an administrative assistant, we would not be able to locate you Also, do not list medical professions under "Other" as we will not know you are there. If your occupation is not listed, please try to find something in the list that you would be able to do if you were needed. 

They are waiving the two FEMA courses at this time. If you would like to volunteer after COVID-19, you will be required to take and provide the training certificates.

Help CO Now: Volunteer Support: Help CO Now is helping to pair volunteers with those organizations who need them during this time of COVID-19. To request volunteers, for roles that could be filled by spontaneous volunteers, visit this link and fill out the form.

Senior Hub is in need of volunteers to deliver meals for their Meals on Wheels program and prep food. To volunteer, visit their website.
S.H.O.U.T.: The S.H.O.U.T. program provides volunteer opportunities through the Senior Hub that serve our aging community in Adams and Arapahoe counties. Currently S.H.O.U.T. accesses over 500 volunteers and places them in different initiatives, programs, and locations.

Vitalant: Blood donors needed! Colorado hospitals have an urgent need for blood. Learn more about eligibility requirements, and how to schedule and appointment.
Volunteers of America Colorado is in need of volunteers for in-person and at-home volunteering. Help is needed for their Meals on Wheels program and at-home volunteering.
